Changes to COVID-19 Vaccination Programme (04/01/22)

The NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme continues to be delivered at rapid speed in response to the Omicron variant.

As GP practices in Swinton, we welcome this as it helps protect local people and their families. Since December, over 16,000 of you have rolled up your sleeves and come to our practices in Swinton to have your boosters and vaccinations. This is incredible but we’ve still got more to do to make sure as many people as possible are protected before the end of January.

Our staff continue to work hard to deliver vaccinations locally but this continues to place local practices in a difficult position: prioritising vaccinations means that some routine appointments may need to be postponed at short notice. We know this might be a worrying time for you especially if you have appointments booked but we’ll try to get to everyone as fast as we possibly can.

Our reception team won’t be able to answer queries about vaccinations but the guide below outlines who is eligible for vaccinations. If you wish to book a booster locally here in Swinton, you can do this using the National Booking System or pop along to one of our walk-in clinics on the dates shown below.

Our clinics operate on:
